Haunted Hotel: Eclipse Collector's Edition > i. Pad, i. Phone, Android, Mac & PC Game Haunted Hotel: Eclipse Collector's Edition. This is one game I'm really going to get. I've played the trials but they weren't for me but this one caught me early on. I don't believe you need to invest in all the previous games unless you want to because I think this is a great standalone game. Experts not so sure as I played on casual and got help when I needed it from the quickly rechargeable hint button to the jumpable map - which has a little secret I won't tell you about. Reviewers - don't give it away! Haunted Hotel 8 Eternity Collectors Edition 2024
Elephant Games proudly present the next installment of the Haunted Hotel series! You’ve woken up in an eerie hotel. Haunted Hotel 10 – The X Collectors Edition. Home; Software; Movies; Games; E-Books. Your curiosity peaks and off you go on your adventure. So do you find ghoulies and ghosties and things that go bump in the night? You definitely do more as the investigating detective than your partner - who seems to only save damsels in distress. Investigate monsters (ex: werewolf, vampires and all those lovely creatures we used to be afraid were under our beds or behind the sofa when children) at a hotel. And the monsters are at war with each other. Haunted Hotel 8 Eternity Collectors Edition 2012Plus you have a male partner (who likes to give orders, so he must be the boss). Doesn't get better than this! Scenery is pleasant to look at and, once inside the hotel, the color palette for the atmosphere is perfect. Artistry is gorgeously done. The monsters are given a slightly puppetry look. Puzzles are tied into the scene and missing pieces are readily assessible within a short walk. It's fun to find the solution. HOS are list- based and, although the objects are very well detailed, are very busy. Still, there was no difficulty in finding objects. Narrator and voices were professional and you could interact directly with characters (including your partner). The hint system is extremely helpful - it tells you what to use and where. Recharge is fairly fast in casual mode. Someone has been murdering the unusual guests, vampires, werewolves and even voodoo masters have fallen prey to something very sinister in this haunted hotel. It seems like it's been forever since a quality hidden object game of this caliber has been released and this one's on the top of my list. I couldn't help but notice the exceptional HD quality right from the get go in the introduction trailer. I knew I was in for a treat, the graphics are so realistic it felt like I was there and no time was wasted getting to the first HOS as I retrieved a medical bag for my assistant. I would sure like to know what pills my assistant gave the young hotel worker who was so upset by the monsters fighting in the hotel that she couldn't speak and then instantly cured and spilling her guts!? This game has a little bit of everything and there are several things to do in each scene, some of which requires you to put on your thinking cap as to what do next. There are achievements to earn, not just the usual achievements but some out of the ordinary goals to achieve but I won't spoil it for you. There are 1. 5 collectible monster portraits to find throughout the hotel and each portrait has a brief description about that monster and you can watch a movie clip about each monster which is kept in your journal. There is a bonus game available, more puzzles, wallpaper and a secret room available in the full version which is one of the reasons I intend to buy this game. This developer has delivered us another well produced HOPA game to add to our collection and so far it looks like it might just make it to the top of the list, enjoy! This one is quite enjoyable, with a monster battle ongoing within the Journey's End Hotel. You join your detective friend, James, to investigate the murders - - of a vampire, a werewolf, and a baron who morphs into some creature. You seem to do all the work, however! The map is interactive and marks current tasks available, and the hint button gives you actual clues, not just an arrow. There are achievements and the . The HOS are lists, and the mini- puzzles are fun but not hard. One of them tells the story of two brothers who grew to be enemies over the years - - probably the battling monsters in the hotel! I SO didn't think I was going to like this game after I watched the video but downloaded it anyway. My hour went by SO quickly. I only did one puzzle - which was in two parts - the second part took some thinking about, which I love. I own all this series and this is far, far better than the previous one. How anyone could give this a low rating is beyond me. I'm sure some people just give low ratings for a joke. You can't be a true Big Fisher if you give this anything less than 4 stars. Good cut scenes and a nice opening. Proper voice overs rather than just text to read. Gameplay is quick and smooth, and there's loads of areas to investigate. I'm only just over half way through and I've been going for 3 hours already so looking like a good long game. There's three difficulties to choose from, a lockable inventory (a must for me!), strategy guide and the usual hint and skip buttons. There's no real note book, but you do have a book that logs interesting items throughout the game. Hate it when a game is crammed full of them as it distracts from the gameplay. Items are hidden at a good difficulty level; not too easy but not too hard, and there's some interaction in the HOS as well. The only bad point, if I have to pick one, is that the puzzles are slightly easy. I haven't skipped any and have completed them rather quickly. However, who wants to be stuck for hours on an impossible puzzle anyway. There's 1. 5 portraits to collect, and several achievements. First game I've thoroughly enjoyed for a while... I've still got lots to do! Good v/o's/puzzle with a cast of horror characters. I love the butterfly that lights up the dark to help you. James is also crucial to your quest. He is your assistant/guide. There is no map so you cant be lazy and teleport. I really recommend this..!!! I. October 1. 5, 2. Will be off to find the preceding titles now. Great game with the usual spooky storyline. Puzzles are good, some quite challenging that I skipped which I never do. Great graphics with not too many interactive movies which I prefer. Great balance of puzzles and HOG. The storyline grabbed me. James is a detective who calls you to help him to solve cases that seem to have supernatural problems. In this case, The Final Hotel seems to be hosting a battle of the monsters. A vampire has been staked and a werewolf has been slain by a silver sword. Found a book in one of the mini games that explains that two best friends had a falling out and became more concerned who could best the other. This story seems to be related to what is happening at the hotel. How will it all turn out? According to the Strategy Guide there are 6 chapters, while the demo covers 2. There is also the Bonus Chapter under the extras along with the norm: Wallpaper, Concept Art, Music. But also included in the achievements room with about 1. There is also a secret room that cannot be accessed until full version is purchased. I was a little confused though why the voiceovers were written and not lip synced, I thought they were past that. But the voices themselves were well done. The music was there but phased it out and the effects sounds were excellent. The mini games were simple, but fit the use. The map was interactive, so jumping was good for the running back and forth. Also, the hint button filled in a decent amount of time and could be used outside of the hos where it specifically told you what to do. Need to try to see if it is a game for you. Haunted Hotel: Eternity Collector's Edition > i. Pad, i. Phone, Android, Mac & PC Game Haunted Hotel: Eternity Collector's Edition. What Have You Done Professor? Tobias suggests hiding out at a nearby hotel, Hotel Eternity, which just might take you an eternity to escape the evil within. Someone or something wants this philanthropist to pay for his sins, until now, nobody questioned his methods for developing advanced medicines. What has the good professor done, detective? Can you play along with this mad mans ? There are 2. 0 Morphing Objects, 1. Morphing Masks, 1. Achievements, and 4 Puzzles to assemble with collected Puzzle Pieces! Some of the inventory items have Plus Signs requiring some type of interaction before using such as a quick puzzle to solve selecting buttons in a specific order. The Mini Games are fun but a tad bit on the easy side, finding matching pairs or sliding tiles around using a single empty slot to maneuver the tiles. The characters in the game are fantastic. Your collectibles are Photo Fragments, Morphs, Masks, and Special Items. If you're into collecting these, I would suggest to peek at the strategy guide to make sure you got them, as not all 4 are in every scene. So far there is no special items like the goggles in another one we've played. Pretty straight forward. He will pay you $1. The detective of course takes the case (like who wouldn't) and off we go. After we get past a sniper and make it to the car, we are off to our abandoned hotel. Kevin and Tobias all of a sudden get abducted, and now we are off to get them back. In the meantime you have some crazy mask man playing with your head. Now off to solve the case. The pachyderm team I don't believe could have gotten any more gruesome. These minis are right up my alley as so far I haven't had the need for the strategy guide. But I am sure knowing this team, that won't be the case for all. Red circle- Player, Question mark- Current task, Blue star- No current task, Green button- Active and Red button- Inactive. And yes it's a jump map. Just click on the t. Ten plus star game easy. I highly recommend this game. You sign his contract and within seconds someone from afar is trying to assassinate him with bullets coming at you thick and fast. You manage to protect him by moving crates around and then run to his car only to be joined by Tobias who is Kevin? Tobias says he has used before and it is definitely safe. All that? s left of him are his clothes - has he been vaporised?? A few seconds later Kevin is taken, but by whom and why? He? s menacing and taunts you as you attempt to overcome obstacles and not get caught in any of his traps that have been set up all through the building. The first one I collected was named Cheap Mask which I thought was rather funny. The game is quite dark, so I recommend you use the gamma setting to lighten up your screen. Also, there are a lot of florescent lights to find! But a sniper fires several shots - how could they all miss? You arrive at the Eternity Hotel where Tobias vaporizes and the Professor is kidnapped by a weirdo in a gas mask and a protective suit. Turns out the Professor contributed $$$ to an Eternity Project which through various mini- games you discover everyone died - including Tobias! The HOPs are varied but pretty easy and are used to explain the story. The mini- games all fit the story. The puzzle hint was pretty worthless, but it was quite fun to solve. Of course there is a strategy guide to help, and show you where all the collectibles are. The 1. 9 achievements are mostly time and skip based. There are morphing objects as well, plus something called a . The CE bling also includes a Secret Room - - one of my favorite extras from this developer. THIS EDITION OF HAUNTED HOTEL IS AMAZING.. Not a task for the faint of heart because he is a target for assassination. He created a secret medical experiment named Project Eternity and your suspect is out for revenge. I wouldn't volunteer for this project myself and this thriller is for mature audience's not kids. Incredibly graphics and story will keep you on the edge of your seat during play, until something jumps out at you and scare's your pants off. I highly recommend this ground breaker and horror fans will be impressed. Excellent special effects and storyline. Bonus play is awesome too. Remember to check Extras for collectibles, achievements, and the usual CE bling. Eternity's Collection is the latest sequel packed with an immersive and mysterious story and a top quality hidden- object adventure game. Collectibles, morphing items, bonus gameplay and achievements put this game at the top of BFG's already expansive array of games for all ages. Gone is that wonderful hand- drawn artwork that I happen to prefer in my games. The game does have voiceovers that are excellent and go along with the creepy theme as do the music and sound effects. At least there are no helpers ? You are pretty much left to your own devices to work your way through Haunted Hotel Eternity. We also will collect puzzle pieces scattered about as we go through the game. Of course, we have the obligatory achievements that are mostly earned by being present and playing the game. Throw in the SG and a few of the other extras and we have a worthy CE offering that many will want to add to their collections. All in all Haunted Hotel Eternity will be a very good game and one that many of you will undoubtedly enjoy. The storyline is different and I did find myself intrigued and did want to find out how it will all end. I? m not sure that I will rush right out and get it but at some point I am sure it will end up being purchased either as a CE if there is a good sale or as an SE where I can use one of those many coupons I have hanging around. As always, I recommend you try the demo to see if this is a game you will enjoy. Nothing to complain about. Morphing objects, collects mask, Cool HO's, Great characters and cut scenes. Game of the year so far for me. I track the betas and give them stars. This one I gave a 5, which I rarely do to any game, but it had it all and was well worth it. Been out of town, so not going to do my usual review, but I bought this one without giving the demo a try. That is something I have only done with two other games. Yes, the other game came out this week aswell and it got the same rating and instant buy without the demo. I think this one is the best of this series. Naturally, I have all of the others. We all have different tastes in games and you may not care for this one at all. Thanks for the reviews. Perfect mix of good storyline, quality graphics, creepy atmosphere. HOS arn't overly difficult, but that's the way I like them. Good protoganist in the story.
